Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. Summary: This role focuses on building, scaling, and enabling machine learning solutions across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers and a broad range of internal stakeholders to accelerate machine learning initiatives and improve how ML is adopted and used across teams. The team emphasizes a strong learning culture, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies, and being a supportive team player are considered core to success in this role. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and enabling other teams' ML projects, designing and delivering end-to-end production-ready ML pipelines, and contributing to MLOps efforts for both deep learning and traditional machine learning models
  • Analyzing how teams use ML, identifying gaps or needs, and collaborating with platform and innovation teams to improve the overall ML experience
  • Build and maintain models that can be reused by other teams and help drive scalable ML applications in the cloud; The work spans model development, deployment, and operationalization using modern ML frameworks and cloud-native tooling

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree/Master's degree in ML/AI or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of ML/Data Science experience
  • Experience with VertexAI
  • Understands data science from hypothesis to production
  • Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, TensorFlow and GCP
  • Strong in SQL
  • Strong communication and culture fit

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
