Machine Learning Data Software Engineer – Consulting assignment

We at WeQuel are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Data Software Engineer for a consulting assignment in Malmö. The role involves expanding engineering capabilities with a focus on machine learning. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong competencies in Data Science, Machine Learning, and proficient in hands-on Python coding.

As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our clients, who are leading companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive, and manufacturing industries, where you will contribute to optimizing processes, implementing new technology, and creating sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of projects ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Developing and deploying ML models
  • Engaging in problem-solving with an emphasis on understanding the underlying mechanisms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Interpreting vague requirements and translating them into actionable tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
  • Proficient in Python coding
  • Solid understanding of Computer Science principles
  • Experience with C++ is advantageous
  • Experience with generative AI is also desirable.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt in uncertain environments
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus.
