Reddit's Emerging Talent program is ready for our next cohort of interns and we are seeking Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) interns that are interested in coding and creating models all while browsing subreddits at work? If that’s you, you're in the right place (and we guarantee you'll get to do it all!). Reddit is in search of MLE intern candidates to join our Core ML (Feed & Search) teams!

Feed Relevance
The Feed Relevance team recommends relevant and engaging content on the Reddit Home Feed. We own the recommender system, handling everything from candidate selection and filtering to ranking and optimization.

Search & Recommendation Relevance
The Search and Recommendation Relevance team ensures users receive the most relevant, high-quality search results and answers when exploring Reddit - from hiking tips to travel advice to restaurant reviews. We build ML models, retrieval systems and ranking pipelines that powers Search & Answers products.

From bootcamps to universities, small to medium and large companies, you'll work with engineers of many different experiences and levels. You'll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout the summer as well!

Contribute to the betterment of Reddit,
whether that be training models, maintaining production backend systems, or serving up relevant content to users. MLE’s work on designing, implementing, improving, testing, and launching new model enhancements to boost user engagement.
