About This Role - Manager, Security Architecture & Engineering
Genesis Global Trading is looking for a Manager of Security Architecture and Engineering to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company to foster a security-first culture where security is built into everything we do. The candidate will be responsible for building, developing, and maintaining an architecture and engineering program responsible for conducting architecture reviews and assessments, designing and implementing appropriate policies, controls, and design principles, and work to continuously improve the company’s security posture.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership in driving Security Architecture principles and design throughout the enterprise
- Mature the organization through direct engagement with development and infrastructure teams, reviewing and assessing control effectiveness and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
- Provide reporting and metrics, as needed
- Conduct regular architecture assessments
- Scope and oversee penetration tests against applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with partner teams to ensure that decisions are informed by security standards best practices
- Support the engineering and development of a secure CI/CD pipeline and overall SDLC process
- Protect and secure multiple cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters
- Build strong working relationships and work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure that security is integrated into decisions
- Develop and maintain security architecture, application security, identity management, data protection, cloud security, and vulnerability management programs
Requirements:
- 7+ year’s experience in some combination of the following
- Comfort working with cross functional teams and priorities
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as financial services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team

The base salary range for this role is $185,000 - $205,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential bonus amounts. Factors that may impact the agreed upon base salary for a particular candidate include years of experience, skill set, and other external factors.
