Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms tailored for medical imaging applications.
  • Implement and train deep learning models for segmentation, classification, anomaly detection, and other medical imaging tasks.
  • Preprocess and augment large-scale medical imaging datasets (e.g., DICOM, NIfTI), ensuring high data quality and integrity.
  • Implement and train deep learning models for tasks such as segmentation and classification
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer projects, communicate findings, and iterate on solutions to meet customer needs.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • MSc. or PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience with medical imaging data formats (e.g., DICOM, NIfTI) and computer vision libraries (e.g., ITK, VTK, PyVista, scikit-image, OpenCV).
  • Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, with hands-on experience in model development and optimization.
  • Expertise in point cloud and mesh processing, including techniques for rigid and non-rigid registration.
  • Competency in data analysis tools and libraries, including Pandas and Matplotlib.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in both customer-facing and internal development roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the human anatomy, particularly the heart and cardiovascular system.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
