We are a remote friendly, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in New York City, Sioux Falls, Porto, Lisbon, and Singapore. The Asset Data Team’s focus is to import data from market data and chain data suppliers for our internal business partners; Custody, Operations, Risk, & Brokerage. By Creating a standard system for these varied providers and asset types, this team enables our partners to move quicker on executing trades, pricing operations, and providing portfolio information.

We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Asset Data role:

Technical Skills:

    • Drive adoption of real-time asset use cases.
    • Build a service for importing Data from Chain Data Providers.
    • Build a service for importing Data from Market Data Providers.
    • Manage and Standardized Data import from differing end-point patterns.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

    • Lead integration of services and reporting systems to use the standardized Asset Data Services.
    • Enable Analytics, Trading, and Custody value by providing clean and timely Data for these use-cases.

Organizational Knowledge:

    • Collaborate with development partners to create a scaling and reliable service for collecting asset data.

Communication and Influence:

    • Contribute to overall architecture of our services that use asset information.
    • Deliver health and wellness information for data providers and asset information to the organization as a whole.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

    • Built a large scale ingestion system from Web-socket, REST, and Streaming endpoints.
    • Managed a large scale streaming platform.
    • Have a record of creating applications that help business scale.
    • Have the ability to handle a quickly changing landscape.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • Previous Experience in ingestion of large scale Blockchain data or Market/Trade Data.
    • Previous Experience in Data Modeling.
    • You want to visit Vancouver, Canada to see the first BTC cash machine.
