MLOPS Engineer
Salt Lake City, UT or Remote
Contract-to-Hire: $50-$60 per hour / $100-120k annual
A client of ours is in search of a MLOPS Engineer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in software development pipeline environments. MLOps Engineers also ensure that models are operationalized effectively and remain stable over time. This role involves collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate machine learning models into existing systems and workflows. Key responsibilities include automating model deployment, implementing monitoring solutions, and optimizing model performance to meet business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Model Deployment: Ensuring that machine learning models are successfully deployed into production environments.
- Monitoring: Setting up monitoring systems to track the performance and health of deployed models.
- Maintenance: Regularly updating and maintaining models to ensure they continue to perform well.
- Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists to understand model requirements and ensure smooth deployment.
- Automation: Automating the deployment and monitoring processes to streamline workflows.
- Scalability: Ensuring that models can scale to handle increased loads and data volumes.
- Security: Implementing security measures to protect models and data.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for deployed models and processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues that arise with deployed models.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimizing model performance to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Utilize agile practices to develop business solutions
