Physics PhD experts
to contribute to a frontier project advancing large language models (LLMs) in scientific reasoning and problem-solving.

In this role, you’ll apply your
advanced knowledge of physics
to design, evaluate, and refine complex problems spanning core domains such as classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical physics, and relativity. Your work will directly inform the next generation of AI systems capable of reasoning with scientific precision and analytical depth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess graduate-level physics problems across diverse subfields.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual soundness, mathematical rigor, and scientific accuracy.
  • Provide structured written feedback to improve reasoning, methodology, and clarity.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to enhance model understanding and performance.
  • Ensure academic rigor and consistency in all physics-related training and evaluation materials.

Ideal Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline from a top-tier university.
  • 2+ years of research, teaching, publication, or professional experience (scientist, researcher, or engineer).
  • Deep subject-matter expertise across multiple areas of physics.
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to analytical detail.
