Duties
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow and other machine learning tools.
- Oversee model training, evaluation, and deployment processes to ensure high performance and reliability across production environments.
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop robust ETL pipelines, optimize database design, and manage large-scale data processing using Hadoop, Spark, and Talend.
- Drive innovation in natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning techniques, and quantum engineering applications to solve complex problems.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices for model development, data mining, and analytics strategies.
- Work closely with product teams to integrate AI solutions into customer-facing platforms using Java, Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other programming languages.
- Lead efforts in data visualization and analytics using tools like Looker to communicate insights effectively.
- Ensure scalable model deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS while maintaining security standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and research to continuously enhance our technological edge.
Experience
- Proven experience as a senior or principal AI engineer with a strong background in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and ETL processes using Talend or equivalent tools.
- Deep understanding of database design principles and proficiency in SQL for data querying and management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, R, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA or related languages used for model development and automation.
- Demonstrated expertise in natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning methods, and model training techniques.
- Experience deploying AI models at scale within cloud environments like AWS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Looker for data visualization and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
