Lead a strategic research portfolio focused on knowledge integrity and online community governance.
Mentor and guide individual contributors to execute high-quality, impactful research projects.
Translate complex research findings into actionable insights for leadership, legal, and communications teams.
Conduct rapid, authoritative evaluation of external research to identify risks, opportunities, and methodological insights.
Engage with global scientific communities, representing organizational research perspectives and promoting best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research outcomes into policy, systems, and tools.

Requirements
PhD and at least five years of experience in research, science, or related fields.
Proven track record of scholarly publications and service within relevant scientific communities.
3+ years of strategic technical leadership in large or matrixed organizations or equivalent academic experience.
Advanced expertise in AI, NLP, ML frameworks, or mixed-method research applied to online communities or human-system interaction.
Ability to manage complex portfolios while mentoring contributors and balancing high-level strategy with technical details.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, capable of translating nuanced scientific findings for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with legal, communications, or cross-disciplinary teams is a plus.
Comfortable working remotely across time zones and traveling periodically for stakeholder engagement.
