About the Role

We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to lead the design, validation, and integration of tokenomics within our protocol. The position requires the ability to construct and refine advanced economic models with exacting precision, ensuring that outputs remain robust under stress and adversarial testing.

The role involves applying quantitative methods and machine learning techniques to complex, high-dimensional datasets, with results expected to meet uncompromising standards of accuracy and reproducibility. Outcomes will directly inform protocol architecture and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

    • Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct deep research on competitive projects, market trends, and on-chain data to inform our tokenomics design.
    • Modelling & Simulation: Build and refine quantitative models to test and optimise various token designs and incentive structures.
    • Data Visualisation: Work with on-chain data to create dashboards and reports that provide a clear view of our token's health and user behaviour.
    • Documentation: Collaborate with the team to write clear, concise documentation and internal memos explaining our tokenomics decisions.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support the engineering and product teams by translating tokenomics concepts into clear requirements and features.
    • Protocol Integration: End-to-end accountability for tokenomics modelling, validation, and flawless implementation within protocol architecture.
    • Model Development: Ongoing design and refinement of quantitative models, with outputs required to withstand continuous stress and adversarial testing.
    • Incentive Systems: Design and validation of incentive mechanisms, with resilience and sustainability treated as non-negotiable outcomes.
    • Risk Management: Implementation of strict risk frameworks to anticipate vulnerabilities and validate system integrity under adverse scenarios.
    • Applied ML & Statistics: Application of advanced ML and statistical methods to large-scale datasets, with accuracy and reproducibility as baseline requirements.
    • Economic Dynamics Monitoring: Continuous oversight of value flows to ensure balance, stability, and long-term sustainability.

Who we're looking for

    • Bachelors degree in Maths or Physics from a leading academic institution, Masters degree in a related field also required.
    • Proven expertise in quantitative and financial modelling, with experience in building simulation frameworks, stress-testing economic systems and deep expertise in tokenomics design and simulation tools.
    • Applied knowledge of advanced machine learning methods, with the ability to apply these techniques to deliver quantitative insights on complex, high-dimensional economic systems.
    • Deep understanding of economic incentives and mechanisms, including game theory, risk/reward structures, and profitability trade-offs.
    • Knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, including DeFi, DePIN, and how they intersect with quantitative economics.
    • Strong proficiency in Python for modeling, data analysis, and simulation design.
    • Hands-on experience with statistical and econometric tools such as R and Stata.
    • Ability to independently design and implement complex models, taking full ownership of outputs.
    • Excellent mathematical foundation, with the ability to translate theory into practical, quantitative frameworks.
    • Comfort with high-pressure, startup environments, demonstrating resilience, problem-solving, and adaptability.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with SQL, C++ and other programming languages is a plus.
