Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is a leading Financial Industry provider, seeking a Senior Data and AI Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. The role involves developing AI governance frameworks, deploying observability solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure responsible AI innovation.

Responsibilities
• • AI Governance Framework Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive AI governance frameworks, development of guardrails for risk mitigations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• • Framework Expertise: Design and deploy AI solutions using leading frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and n8n for scalable agent orchestration, workflow automation, and integration with business systems
• • Observability and Monitoring: Architect and deploy observability solutions for AI systems, leveraging leading platforms , and AWS services to enable real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
• • Popular AI Governance Tools: Utilize and integrate advanced AI and Data governance tools (e.g., LangSmith, Microsoft Purview, Weights & Biases, Dataiku) to automate policy enforcement, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
• • Agentic AI Integration: Develop and operationalize agentic AI governance models, enabling adherence to ethical, legal, and operational constraints while maintaining human oversight.
• • Model Context Protocol (MCP): Implement and manage MCP-based solutions for secure, scalable, and context-aware AI model integration and lifecycle management.
• • Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with cross-functional teams including DevOps engineers, risk, legal, and compliance to embed governance into the AI lifecycle and drive responsible innovation.

Skills
• Key skills; GenAI, AWS, Python
• 8+ years of experience in AI governance, observability, data/AI development, or related role.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks.
• Strong experience with observability platforms and AI governance tools.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and modern cloud/data technologies (AWS, Client preferred).
• Good working experience developing and integrating AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, including prompt engineering, RAG, and enterprise application integration.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. U.S. FinTech does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.
• Deep understanding of AI governance principles, observability, and monitoring best practices.
• Expertise in deploying and managing AI governance tools for policy automation, risk detection, and compliance.
• Proficiency in agentic AI, MCP, and scalable AI/data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into actionable governance strategies.
• Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry is preferred.

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
