Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Scientist based in Berkeley. The Research Scientist will conduct foundational and applied research in quantum computing devices and related technologies. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and characterizing quantum processors. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and staying updated on advancements in the field will be essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in superconducting quantum devices design and characterization
  • Experience in developing measurement apparatus for quantum devices and working with advanced quantum control electronics
  • Demonstrated ability in conducting research, performing data analysis, and publishing scientific findings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
  • Ph.D. in Physics or a related field with a focus on quantum devices
