About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our risk management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing credit risk policies, optimizing risk policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and credit teams to enhance our underwriting models and decisioning frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- check_circle Analyze credit risk across various products, including merchant and personal loans, postpaid.
- check_circle Liaison with the business team to understand the credit risk policies and implement the same on platform.
- check_circle Implement the credit risk policies on our proprietary platform.
- check_circle Monitor performance of credit risk policies. Share feedback with product and Policy team what's working well and what needs improvement.
- check_circle Utilize alternative data sources, machine learning models, and traditional credit assessment techniques to enhance risk evaluation.
- check_circle Conduct testing and scenario analysis to measure policy resilience.
- check_circle Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide actionable insights to management.
- check_circle Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal risk policies.
- check_circle Collaborate with product and technology teams to integrate risk-based decision-making into lending processes.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a fintech or banking environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, for data analysis and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate across teams.
- Education qualification: B.Tech- NIT/BITS or any other reputed institutions
