Scale Agentic AI as a Senior AI Engineer at Norlys - Aarhus, Copenhagen

As part of the Data Science & AI team, you will help shape the future of Norlys. The team you will join consists of 10 AI/ML Engineers who work broadly with developing and implementing AI/ML products across Norlys.
In collaboration with the rest of the team, you will, as an AI Engineer, be responsible for implementing AI agents that will strengthen our ability to make a difference for our customers.
Use your talent and become a deep expert in agentic AI
We place great emphasis on developing our data science capabilities, following industry best practices and applying best-practice principles in our development work. We have a mature MLOps framework that ensures a smooth transition for our ML models from development to production. This allows us to focus our efforts where they truly matter and create real value.
The same principles apply to agentic AI. The first classic RAG services were established back in 2023, further developed in 2024 and 2025, and if you have followed the technology, you know why. We have built the first handful of AI agents with human-in-the-loop, and have now also started delivering the fully autonomous. In 2026, our focus is on scaling both.
You will work with:
Developing new and innovative AI solutions for both internal and external users.
Working closely with domain experts across the business to ensure that our solutions are tailored to unique business needs.
Technologies such as Foundry for model deployment, Arize Phoenix for evaluations and Temporal for scheduling. Azure is our go-to cloud platform, and Snowflake is our central data warehouse.
Keeping up with developments in the field and continuously testing new technologies and methods that can improve our ability to deliver value for customers or the business.
Contribute your knowledge to AI development at Norlys
We are looking for a new colleague for the team with skills in:
Experience with generative AI, gained in a similar role, as a consultant or in a software development environment.
Advanced proficiency in Python and data types such as vectors and graphs.
Practical experience with CI/CD, unit tests, pull requests, code reviews and similar practices.
An educational background in a quantitative field and a deep understanding of ML or AI within a specific domain.
You are already leaning into agentic engineering on your own initiative and are not afraid to start new projects in the terminal using Opencode or Claude Code.
