Responsibilities
- build and maintain AI-powered applications, backend services, and APIs,
- develop solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval systems, and modern AI tooling,
- design workflows involving prompt engineering, context management, tool calling, memory, and structured outputs,
- integrate AI capabilities into business processes, engineering workflows, and internal platforms,
- improve reliability, scalability, observability, and performance of AI systems,
- implement testing, evaluation, monitoring, and safety mechanisms for production AI applications,
- collaborate with engineers, product teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver practical AI solutions,
- participate in architecture discussions and contribute to engineering best practices,
- continuously improve systems through experimentation, optimisation, and adoption of new AI technologies.
Basic qualifications
- strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems,
- good programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python or Kotlin,
- experience working with APIs, backend services, cloud platforms, or distributed systems,
- interest or hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, especially LLM-based applications,
- familiarity with concepts such as prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, or agentic workflows,
- experience with modern engineering tools and practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, or Infrastructure as Code,
- ability to work in a collaborative and fast-moving environment,
- problem-solving mindset with focus on practical and maintainable solutions.
