As a Senior AI Engineer in our Technology & Innovation department, you will play a key role in developing Riverty's AI platform to accelerate software engineering productivity. You will design and implement AI-driven solutions based on Large Language Models, agentic architectures, and knowledge graphs – building the foundation for automation and intelligent developer workflows across our tech organization.

Your key responsibilities:

  • AI in Coding: Build AI solutions that support developers in refactoring, documentation, and legacy transformation
  • AI-driven Innovation: Integrate external AI services to make Riverty's products and services better, faster, and more human-centric
  • Advance our AI platform capabilities: Enhance the platform with LLMs, knowledge graphs, APIs, and agent-based workflows
  • Build & Experiment: Create prototypes and proof-of-concepts to quickly demonstrate value and drive adoption
  • Develop & Deploy: Deliver production-grade AI services on Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance
  • Lead & Partner: Tackle challenges hands-on and collaborate with external partners to accelerate innovation

Your profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field; business/innovation background is a plus
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or solution architecture
  • Proven expertise in Python and AI/LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Strong knowledge of external AI models and services (OpenAI, Vertex, Claude, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures (preferably Azure), microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
  • Familiarity with knowledge graph technologies and data architectures
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business needs
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
