As Senior AI/ML Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a key role in building the bridge between research and production, ensuring xLSTM/ViL models are optimized, portable and ready for deployment. Yourareas of responsibility include:

  • Deep Learning & Model Development
  • Model Optimization & Deployment
  • Data Handling & Preprocessing
  • Performance Profiling & Debugging

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience or exceptional expertise with a strong track record, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Strong PyTorch skills for writing, debugging and optimizing models.
  • Profound understanding of transformers, LSTMs and attention mechanisms.
  • Time Series Forecasting expertise for long-sequence modeling.
  • Knowledge of converting models to ONNX format for deployment, TensorRT or MIGraphX for efficient inference and TorchScript for exporting optimized models.
  • Core skills in software engineering and its best practices: e.g. structured, modular Python code for ML pipelines
  • Experience with time-series data pipelines (Dask, Pandas, PySpark) and image preprocessing (OpenCV, torchvision).
  • Understanding of NVIDIA Nsight or PyTorch Profiler for speed/memory optimizations.
  • Proficiency in applying memory-efficient training strategies (mixed precision, gradient checkpointing).
  • Deep interest or experience at the intersection of Time Series, Computer Vision, and Robotics (e.g., path planning, sequence modeling, and sensor fusion).
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and act as a lead on complex projects. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and shaping the technical direction without losing yourself in PM-focused tasks.
