What you'll do:
As Senior Software Engineer you will get to work in an agile CI/CD environment and join a growing team of highly skilled engineers. Public.com’s primary tech stack is based on Java Spring boot and AWS, and we are looking for Senior Software Engineers to expand the team ASAP. Due to Public.com’s success the team will be growing significantly next year and therefore you will have the opportunity for professional as well as personal growth in a company with enormous international ambitions.
What we're looking for:
- Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience in building a social platform
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on experience building production Java applications
- Solid fundamentals in data models/structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming and knowledge of development best practices
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for creating delightful user experiences
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning
- Flexibility and capacity to switch contexts as business needs evolve
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with Docker and AWS is a plus
