The Imaging and Sensing group at Apple develops active sensors from the LiDAR Scanner on the iPhone Pro to health monitoring on the Watch. Our team comes from diverse backgrounds, including signal and image processing, statistics, machine learning, controls, physics, hardware and software development. We are looking for a highly capable and creative Senior Data Scientist to analyze and interpret Biomedical signals from real world human studies. The ideal candidate is a technical leader with proven track record in Data Science and in Deep Neural Networks. We are looking for a substantial experience in leading data science efforts, and is excited about proving feasibility of new sensors. In this role you will take a meaningful part in exploring, inventing, and implementing new ideas to address unsolved challenges and be part of a small and exceptionally talented team of researchers and engineers. * Visualize and deeply understand data from large datasets of real-world human studies * Design and prototype deep learning architectures to process data from new sensors for tackling unsolved challenges * Join forces and work with top researchers and engineers from Apple sites worldwide * This role involves significant hands-on work
