Role overview

  • Developing and deliver a market leading synthetic population
  • Developing and maintaining production quality data science software and pipelines systems for our out-of-home audience measurement contracts
  • Manipulating complex data from different sources and data processing in R, Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform
  • Developing independently machine learning models and developing data science software according to DevOps procedures and cloud deployment of production quality models
  • Advising the product team and stakeholders on how to use the data and analysis and communicating methodology and results

About the company

  • Strong Programming background and experience of deployment of production standard code as part of data science workflows: Python or R - writing functionally and/or OOP
  • Experience working with cloud computing environments such as GCP (mandatory) , AWS and Azure
  • Experience in git with collaborative development of data science workflows / products through DevOps
  • Supervised and unsupervised learning, simulation, optimisation, graph theory and model validation
  • Strong intuition and enthusiasm for data including statistical and machine learning principles
  • Tenacity in problem solving, with particular emphasis on perseverance and following the scientific method
  • Competence in and interest in using multiple data sources, including wrangling of complex data
  • Previous line reporting and the desire to develop further as a people leader is a pre-requisite
  • Comfortable at line managing and organising the workload and support the career development of other data science members of the team
