Must Haves

  • 5yrs+ AI/ML Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Azure MLOps, including AI Foundry.
  • Strong knowledge of model registries and LLM usage (selection, versioning, lifecycle).
  • Experience with AI agent technologies in production environments.
  • Focus on platform enablement over one-off model development.
  • Experience supporting large-scale AI/ML data environments.
  • Proficiency with structured and unstructured data.
  • Solid understanding of Fabric, AI Foundry, and MLOps workspace integration.
  • Experience with real-time or near–real-time data pipelines.
  • Ownership of governance, security, and provisioning controls.
  • Background in a regulated environment.

A leading academic health institution is seeking a senior-level AI/ML platform engineer leader with hands-on experience in Azure MLOps, AI Foundry, and Microsoft Fabric (from an AI/ML perspective), deep understanding of model registries, LLM usage, and agent technologies, proven ability to work with large-scale structured and unstructured data (including Epic systems), and strong architectural expertise in securely connecting Fabric, AI Foundry, and MLOps for real-time data flows, governance, and compliance—someone who collaborates closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to build secure, reusable patterns, enable others to develop models, implement governed registries and access controls, translate regulatory requirements across industries into practical standards, and bring an ownership mindset and leadership potential as the first AI/ML platform hire.
