What we're looking for 👨‍💻

  • Bachelors (preferably Masters) in computer science, statistics, engineering or applied mathematics with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis, mathematics/probability, and statistical analysis
  • An inquisitive mind, an ability for self-learning and abstraction along with a risk appetite for experimentation and failure
  • Strong programming experience in at least one of the programming languages such as - Python, C/C++/C#. Preferably Python Scientific Stack (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn etc.).
  • Solid foundations in Data-Structures, Algorithms, Design & Architecture.
  • Solid foundations in Linear Algebra, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Optimization & Data Structures
  • Expertise across ML Models, Training & Deployment Pipelines. Preferably, Deep Learning with Pytorch/Tensorflow.
  • Excited about building cutting edge AI products in the fields of Gaming, Graphics & Computer Vision, Audio & AR/VR.
  • Relentless passion to learn, own & deliver user delight.

You will

  • Translate business problems into scientifically addressable problems.
  • Figure out opportunities & metrics that should be driven scientifically, to create maximal business impact
  • Research multiple approaches & pick just the right experiments to do, to arrive at solutions that are likely to create timely impact, as well as enable a path towards creating the optimal solution to ensure maximal long-term impact.
  • Work with ML Engineers to prototype, validate & deploy scientific solutions.
  • Deep dive into existing cutting-edge ML pipelines and improve upon it
  • Own the metrics for the deployed ML models: work with data analysts and product teams to identify and track "what matters" and improve it.
  • Stay updated with state of the art research in AI and related disciplines
  • Guide & mentor ML Scientists & Engineers, while owning an AI Product Lifecycle end to end.
