Senior NLP Engineer (Agentic AI) – San Francisco | $150k–$350k + Equity

We’re recruiting for an AI-native social networking company looking for a Senior NLP Engineer to build the language systems behind next-gen AI agents. This is a hands-on role, shipping real, reliable conversational AI.

You’ll work on:

  • Multi-turn conversational pipelines and agent orchestration
  • Retrieval, enrichment, and memory systems that handle messy data
  • Matchmaking logic that uncovers hidden compatibility patterns
  • Systems designed for reliability, observability, and measurable outcomes

You have:

  • 7+ years NLP engineering in production
  • 2+ years building LLM-enabled systems
  • Experience with LangGraph/LangChain, Python, TypeScript
  • Hands-on with retrieval systems (MongoDB, Redis, AI DBs)

Nice-to-haves: social/recommendation platforms, RL experience, trust & safety systems
