Working student (m/f/d) Machine Learning Engineer
Your responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work on the development, training, and deployment of state-of-the-art ML models for image processing. You will contribute to the design and implementation of robust training and labeling pipelines and ensure efficient data collection, preprocessing, and augmentation. Working closely with AI engineers, software developers, and product teams, you will help develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance ML systems that have a tangible impact on industrial quality control.
Due to the nature of the work, it can only be done on site. This position is not remote. If you do not live in Würzburg but are willing to relocate, please indicate this in your application.
Your qualification
- In-depth knowledge of Python and deep learning frameworks (Keras/PyTorch/...)
- Understanding concepts and datasets in the field of computer vision
- Willingness to learn new technologies
Nice to have
- Experience with AzureML, AWS SageMaker, or similar ML cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of data annotation workflows
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data pipelines
- Knowledge of labeling, training, and experiment tracking tools (Weights & Biases, MLflow, etc.)
