About the Role:

Notion is seeking a Workplace Technology Operation contractor for our San Francisco office! As part of our growing Workplace Technology Operations team, you'll be a resourceful, security-focused, and people-centered professional who will help us continue scaling and establish best-in-class support for our end users. This individual will focus on automation opportunities and have meaningful impact on our day-to-day Workplace Technology operations while providing exceptional technical support.

What You'll Achieve:

  • End User Support: Provide comprehensive technical support for onsite SF office employees, and remote, ensuring quick resolution of hardware and software issues.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including asset management, account provisioning, and device setup.

  • Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of hardware (computers, monitors, peripherals) and accessories for the SF office.

  • AV Support: Ability to support conference room AV troubleshooting and internal events.

  • Operational Optimization: Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and scalability across internal governance and processes.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • AI Mindset: Familiarity with the use of Notion Ai or alternate AI tools (Openai, Claude, OpenClaw, etc.).

  • MacOS Expertise: High degree of confidence troubleshooting hardware and software in a predominantly macOS environment, with additional iOS support capabilities.

  • WindowsOS Expertise: High degree of confidence troubleshooting hardware and software in a predominantly Windows environment, with additional android os support capabilities

  • SaaS Administration: Experience administering Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Fleet, Intune and other enterprise SaaS applications.

  • Network Fundamentals: Understanding device connectivity (TCIP/IP), DHCP, DNS, VPN setup, and general infrastructure concept.

  • Communication: Clear and direct communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Service Mindset: Strong customer service orientation with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Self-Motivated: Have a knack for technology tinkering and demonstrate deep curiosity and motivation for continuous learning.

  • Experience: 3+ years of IT support or similar hands-on technical experience.

  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.

Nice to Haves:

  • Have familiarity with Bash or Python scripting.

  • Have familiarity with Git & Github.
