Lead Data Scientist
Role overview
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Data Scientist Lead to drive advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, feature engineering, experimentation, and scalable ML solutions. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Product, Business, and Engineering teams to build intelligent systems that power personalization, customer insights, forecasting, recommendation engines, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- check_circle Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for business and customer-centric use cases
- check_circle Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights
- check_circle Build predictive models for: Customer behavior Churn prediction Recommendation systems Segmentation Forecasting Anomaly detection
- check_circle Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build scalable data and feature pipelines
- check_circle Develop and optimize feature engineering frameworks for ML workflows
- check_circle Work with Customer 360 datasets to create advanced customer intelligence models
- check_circle Design and evaluate A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- check_circle Build reusable ML components and model monitoring solutions
- check_circle Translate business problems into analytical and machine learning solutions
- check_circle Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
- check_circle Mentor junior data scientists and promote ML best practices
Basic qualifications
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Predictive Analytics, Deep Learning, and Feature Engineering with hands-on experience in NLP, Time-Series Forecasting, Recommendation Systems, and Customer Analytics.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Good understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and data preprocessing.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies including Kafka, Flink, ETL/ELT frameworks, Data Lakes/Lakehouse architectures, and scalable ML workflows in collaboration with Data Engineering teams.
