About the Role
We are seeking an ML Engineer with deep expertise in agentic AI and LLM systems to build production-grade AI capabilities within our healthcare EMR platform. This role focuses on designing reliable, safe, and scalable AI agents that operate in real clinical workflows not experimental prototypes.
You will work on multi-step reasoning systems, tool-using agents, structured outputs, and healthcare-safe LLM deployments. **This is hands on position not a management or leadership role.
What You’ll Do**
- Design and build agentic AI workflows (planner–executor, tool calling, multi-agent systems)
- Develop LLM-powered clinical automation (SOAP notes, summaries, structured documentation)
- Implement hallucination control and validation layers for healthcare use cases
- Build structured JSON outputs with schema enforcement and post-processing
- Integrate LLM APIs into backend systems
- Optimize latency, cost, and reliability in production AI systems
- Collaborate with engineering and clinical teams on compliant AI architecture
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software or machine learning engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs and agent-based AI systems
- Deep understanding of tool calling, context management, and multi-step reasoning
- Experience building production LLM pipelines, not just prompts
- API integration and cloud experience (AWS)
- Healthcare or EMR experience, clinical NLP, RAG systems, vector databases, or work in regulated / government-adjacent environments.
