We are seeking an exceptional applied scientist to work on innovative Generative AI & Data Analytics modeling research and development efforts. As a Senior Principal Applied Scientist in Generative AI Science team, you will be architecting, building and deploying cutting-edge, high-quality AI models and solutions at scale. You will work with a team of world-class scientists in exploring new frontiers of Generative AI and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers and product managers to deploy these globally for real-world enterprise use-cases at the largest scale. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Generative AI & Data Analytics at Oracle and across the industry. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering our new Generative AI-powered services for large-scale enterprise customers.
Responsibilities :
- Research and Development: Conduct in-depth research on Generative AI and Data Analytics, with a focus on Large Language Models (architecture, models, representation, evaluation, optimizations, planning, among others), and other emerging approaches.
- AI Data and Agent Development: Design, develop, and train state-of-the-art LLM models and Agents that meet the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: technical leadership and mentor junior scientists.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI capabilities into various applications and products.
- Innovation: Identify new opportunities for Generative AI and Data Analytics and explore emerging technologies for Unstructured and Structured Data.
- Stay Updated: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in this space.
Qualifications and Experience :
- PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years relevant experience in Computer Science (focused on LLM, Agent, Analytics) or related fields;
- Strong publication record, including as a lead author, in top-tier journals or AI/LLM/Analytics conferences.
- Extensive experience in NLP, LLM, VLM, Retrieval, Enrichment and Analytics.
- Proven track record of leading research and development projects.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
