Senior AI Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• check_circle Design and develop production-grade Generative AI and LLM applications.
• check_circle Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including document processing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, and response generation.
• check_circle Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows capable of reasoning, tool calling, and interacting with enterprise systems.
• check_circle Develop AI capabilities for enterprise search, Q&A, summarization, document analysis, extraction, and decision support.
• check_circle Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, document repositories, search platforms, and enterprise applications.
• check_circle Develop APIs and reusable AI services supporting multiple applications and use cases.
• check_circle Optimize prompts, retrieval strategies, model selection, context management, latency, scalability, and cost.
• check_circle Implement AI evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, hallucination, retrieval quality, task success, and performance.
• check_circle Implement guardrails and controls addressing prompt injection, data leakage, inappropriate tool usage, and other AI security risks.
• check_circle Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI applications in production.

Basic qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields, with strong recent experience in Generative AI.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering.
• Experience building AI agents, tool/function calling, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and open-source or commercial LLMs.
• Strong API and backend development experience, including integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, LLM security, and production monitoring.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms.
• Experience with OCR, document intelligence, multimodal AI, and Arabic-language AI applications is highly desirable.
• Strong software engineering, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
