Duties

• Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to solve complex problems.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to prepare large datasets for analysis.
• Contribute to database design and management, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate on model training, evaluation, and deployment for predictive modeling analysis across various applications.
• Help optimize big data systems utilizing Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies to enhance scalability and performance.
• Participate in statistical analysis for research purposes using tools like R or SAS to derive actionable insights.
• Engage in natural language processing (NLP) projects leveraging generative AI techniques for language understanding tasks.
• Support the integration of AI models into cloud environments using machine learning cloud services such as AWS or similar platforms.
• Contribute to data mining efforts using Talend or comparable tools to uncover hidden patterns within large datasets.
• Assist in model evaluation processes, including accuracy assessment and performance tuning for AI models.
• Support data analytics initiatives by applying machine learning/AI-based analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, or Bash (Unix shell) with experience in developing AI applications.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, or similar tools.
• Experience working with SQL databases and big data systems like Hadoop or Spark implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services on platforms such as AWS or equivalent for model deployment and scalability.
• Understanding of statistical modeling techniques and statistical analysis tools like R or SAS for research purposes.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, and predictive modeling analysis methods.
• Ability to design efficient database schemas and perform data mining using ETL tools like Talend.
• Experience with data analytics platforms such as Looker or similar visualization tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of quantum engineering concepts related to advanced AI research is advantageous but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on scalable solutions for big data challenges.
