Senior Software Engineer, Generative AI
Role overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our AI team, focusing on the exploration and implementation of Generative AI and other innovative new technologies. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that leverage Generative AI.
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned software engineer with a passion for innovation and a track record of integrating Machine Learning and/or Generative AI into real-world applications. This candidate brings extensive experience in building scalable solutions across the technology stack, coupled with proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). With a collaborative mindset, this individual thrives in a team environment, working closely with staff and lead engineers, the product owner, and data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Python for back-end development is essential, ensuring seamless integration across the stack. Experience with JavaScript is also valuable for building user-friendly interfaces. Excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving effectively contribute to the team's success by translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a strong focus on Python, and development-to-production lifecycle. Experience with JavaScript (React or similar) is a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is essential.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and applying innovative technologies, with the ability to inspire and drive innovation within the team.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI, deploying and supporting Large Language Models, and building/deploying Data Science related solutions is a major plus.
