Role overview
TRINITY IT is seeking an exceptional Software and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-enabled capabilities supporting Navy Command and Control modernization efforts.
The successful candidate will lead software architecture activities involving cloud-native applications, microservices, machine learning, large language models, and operational deployment of AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead software architecture and design efforts.
- Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into operational systems.
- Lead deployment of containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Design microservices architectures supporting mission applications.
- Collaborate with Naval Operations SMEs to develop operationally relevant AI capabilities.
- Support secure software delivery through DevSecOps pipelines.
- Participate in technical proposal development and oral presentations.
Basic qualifications
- Active TS/SCI or eligibility.
- Minimum 5 years experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Docker/containerization
- Microservices architectures
- Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM technologies into operational systems.
- Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent DoD 8140 certification.
Preferred qualifications
- MLOps experience.
- LLM deployment experience.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud environments.
- C4ISR mission systems.
- Platform One experience.
